When Thomas Allen from In-Fisherman landed at Tazin Lake Lodge, his smile was as wide as a trophy lake trout. Our lodge had been on his list for a while and he was finally here.
During his trip, we filmed two segments for the popular national tv show, In-Fisherman. One of them featured northern pike, which Thomas had a blast catching including multiple trophy fish. But he was here for the giant lake trout. That segment is airing right now on the Outdoor Channel. He was able to put some big ones in the boat and also spend some time jigging for numbers.
It was a fun week with amazing fishing. Watch the schedule for the episodes airing on the Outdoor Channel. The lake trout show has been airing and is on again tomorrow. It might be your last chance for awhile, so set your alarm or DVR to watch it.
